Westmoreland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Westmoreland Brothers Shot and Injured: The Westmoreland police are carrying out investigations where two brothers from the parish, one 26 years old, and the other 35 years old, were shot and injured by two men travelling on a motorcycle on Thursday night.

Reports by the Savanna-la-mar police, are that at about. 7:30 pm on Thursday, November 9, both brothers were travelling on a motorcycle along the Farm Pen main road. While negotiating a corner, they got involved in an accident with a Toyota Axio motor car,in which 4 men were travelling.

Both brothers made arrangements with the men for repairs to the motor car, and later rode away. They soon noticed another motorcycle with two men on board, travelling behind them. The men on the motorbike caught up with them and opened fire, hitting them both on their bodies.

They then jumped from the motorcycle in bushes to avoid being killed on the spot. After the gunmen had left they sought assistance from a motorist, who assisted them to the Savana- la- mar hospital, and then summoned the police.
