Westmoreland: 2000 Toyota Altis Mowed Down KNOCKALVA Student

Sav-La-Mar, Westmoreland (McN) – The Sav la Mar police in Westmoreland are now in search of a motorist who fled the scene after he reportedly drove from a service station and mowed down a student on Tuesday afternoon.

Dead is Teo Lindsey 15-year-old student of the Knockalva Technical High school in Hanover.

Reports are that about. 12:00 noon Lindsey was riding a motorcycle from the directions of Ramble towards Sav La Mar. On reaching a section of the Petersfield main road in the vicinity of the service station the driver of the motorcar who had just purchased gasoline at the service station drove out unto the roadway into the path of the motorcycle been risen by the student.

Lindsey collided with the motor car and was thrown unto the pavement. He was rushed to the Sav La Mar Hospital where he died whilst being treated.

The driver of the 2000 Toyota Altis motor which the police say is believed to be unlicensed fled the scene and is now been sought.

Anyone with information on this hit and run is asked to contact the Sav la Mar police or the nearest police station.
