Westmoreland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – 10 Firearms Seized in 7 Days: Superintendent in Charge of Westmoreland Landford Salmon told media representatives on Monday, December 18, 2017, that over the past seven days, the Westmoreland police have reaped tremendous success in the seizure of firearms.

According to Superintendent Salmon, the success includes the seizing of 10 illegal firearms being taken off the streets of the parish and three men arrested and charged. Also, over 12 men have been taken into custody, most of whom are believed to be linked to a number of murders which have taken place around the parish over the past month.

The suspects in custody includes the gunman who was caught on surveillance camera while shooting another man inside a supermarket in broad daylight in Sav La Mar and also two men who are believed to be the prime suspects in the Little London quadruple murder.
