Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Westgate Hills Man Murdered: A man was shot and killed by unknown assailants while visiting his girlfriend at a section of Irwin District on Monday morning.
Dead is 21-year-old Dontae Ricketts of Westgate Hills.
Reports by the Freeport police are that about 2:00 a.m. on Monday, December 18, 2017, gunshots were heard coming from the direction of a house located at Irwin Meadows in Montego Bay. The police responded to a call and on arrival, Ricketts was discovered slumped around the steering wheel of his black Mark X motor car with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
Rickets had just celebrated his birthday hours before on December 17.
The scene was processed and the body later removed and pronounced dead at the Cornwall Regional Hospital. The police stated that earlier, Ricketts had left his home in Westgate Hills and told family members that he was going to visit his girlfriend.
