Latest Jamaica News, Clarendon (McKoy’s News): Watchman Shot and Killed – The Clarendon police are investigating the murder of a man, and the shooting and wounding of two others on Hayes main road in the parish, on Saturday, February 1.
Dead is Dwayne Burrell, otherwise called “Steve” watchman of New Town, Phase Two, also in the Parish.
Reports by the Hayes police are that about 7:30 p.m., Burrell and the other two men were standing at a phone repair shop when armed men approached them and opened gunfire hitting them.
All three victims were assisted to hospital where Burrell was pronounced dead, and the other two men treated and admitted in serious but stable conditions.
The police say they are now asking members of the public who can assist in their investigations to immediately contact the Hayes police.
