Watchman Murdered in Clarendon    

Jamaica Crime News, Clarendon: The Clarendon police have now launched an investigation surrounding the shooting death of a 42-year-old watchman, who was shot and killed by unknown assailants in the parish on Wednesday morning, May 16.

The deceased has been identified as Easton Gardener, of Tread Light district in Clarendon.

Reports by the police are that shortly after 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Gardener was standing underneath a tree in his community when he was ambushed by armed men who shot him multiple times.

The police were alerted and upon arrival, the wounded man was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
