Wisynco through its WATA brand has been sponsoring football at various levels including schoolboy football for several years now, and specifically the ISSA Champions Cup this year.
According to Tiffany Simmonds, Wisynco’s marketing coordinator, the company’s commitment to sports in Jamaica and WATA’s involvement in the schoolboy football competitions fits perfectly with the its mission to improve the lives of the Jamaican people.
The company’s sponsorship extends from the governing body ISSA to the school teams. The teams are provided with WATA for hydration purposes.
The Champions Cup winner will walked away with the coveted champion’s trophy and four hundred thousand dollars (400,000) towards its sports program. The most valuable player copped the MVP trophy while twenty-five (25) cases of WATA will go to the school with the most goals during the competition.
Schoolboy football and specifically the Champions Cup which features the best corporate area schools and the best schools from the other parishes in display of exciting school based football.
Schoolboy football not only brings Jamaicans together but provides a platform for our youths to develop and showcase their skills as well as maximize the school spirit and shared value of the proud alumni both locally and across the world.
