Vendors Shot and Injured By Gunmen in Norwood, St James

Jamaica Crime News, St James: A popular Montego Bay vendor was shot and injured by gunmen, in his community at Norwood, on Tuesday night, July 2.

The name of the injured 28-year-old vendor is being withheld by the police.

Reports are that about 10:30 p.m., the vendor and another man were sitting on a wall, at a section of Norwood community, known as Cherry Gardens.

While at the location, they were approached by three men armed with guns, who opened fire hitting the vendor to his upper body.

The wounded man still managed to run from the scene and he was assisted to hospital, where he was treated and admitted in serious condition.
