Police attached to the St Andrew police station are now carrying out a series of investigations, following the shooting of a vendor outside the gates of the Mona Primary School, in St Andrew, on Friday, October 19th.
Reports by the police are that about 11:00 am, the vendor was among a group of other vendors outside the school gate when a lone gunman walked up to him and opened fire hitting him multiple times to his upper body.
The police were summoned, and upon arrival, the wounded vendor was transported to a hospital, where he was admitted in critical condition.
In the meanwhile, our news team learned that the school has closed for the day, and teachers are asking parents to come for their children as quickly as possible.
