Vendor Shot and Killed at Shortwood Road, Another Man Shot and Injured

Jamaica Crime News: A male vendor was shot and killed, and another man shot and injured, by two men posing as customers, along Shortwood Road, in Kingston 8,on Monday, June 17.
Dead is 20-year-old Dylant Wedderburn, vendor of Shortwood Lane, also in Kingston.
Reports by the Grants Pen police are that about, 9:50p.m., on Monday, Wedderburn and the other man was standing at his stall, along Shortwood Road, when two men posing as customers walked up to them.
The men ordered an item, as as they were in the process of being served, they brandished handguns and opened fire, hitting Wedderburn and the other man.
The gunmen then jumped in a waiting motorcar, and escpaped in the area.
The police were summoned and upon their arrival, both wounded men were rushed to hospital, where Wedderburn was pronounced dead, and the other man admitted in serious condition.
