St. James, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Useless Lotto Scam Leads List: Head of the St James Police Division, Senior Superintendent Marlon Nesbeth, says St. James Police are continuous in their efforts against lottery Scamming in the Parish.
“…I suspect, based on what was said by that official from the United States Embassy, that more people are to be brought in and more extraditions done, even to include support people like attorneys,” the SSP said.
Nesbeth made note that with the list of Leads that Lottery Scammers use to identity their victims becoming more difficult to obtain, than they once were – coupled with the word getting out about “Jamaican Lottery Scammers,” making victims wiser – may be playing a factor in the upsurge of bloodshed in the Western Parishes, as the benefits of Lotto Scamming become scarce.
“With that in mind, you find that these guys are fighting more for that. They are now more in conflicts around these issues — people being given lists and not turning over proceeds,” he stated.
Nesbeth assured that the police are working continuously around the lottery scams, and have made many arrests with more to come.
