Update: Stephen Gordon Shot and Killed at the New Port Wharf

The Kingston police have released the identity of a man who was shot and killed at the New Port wharf in Kingston, earlier today.

He has been identified as 23-year-old Stephen Gordon, Side-Man of a Spanish Town address.

Reports are that the deceased who works as a side-man to one of the truck drivers, He recently got involved in a dispute with a group of men at Three Miles.

It is also alleged that Gordon was threatened not to be seen in the area, but he ignored the warning, and was at work about 9:40 a.m., at the New Port wharf along Shannon Drive, when he was attacked by armed men.

The men opened fire hitting Gordon multiple times before fleeing the scene. The police were summoned and upon their arrival, Gordon was found suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
