Montego Bay, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Kidnapped Female Hotel Worker Found: The police in the parish of St James issued a reported that the female hotel worker who was kidnapped by a male and female armed robber team on Thursday night is now reunited with her family.
According to the police, an intensive search was carried out in the Rosehall areas of the parish following news of the kidnapping. This led to the female victim being found unarmed at a section of the corporate area of Montego Bay on Friday evening.
On Thursday night a report was made to the police that two female hotel workers were reportedly kidnapped by two armed robbers posing as a taxi operator and passenger in Montego Bay
Mckoy’s News received a report that shortly after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, both women who work at a resort in the Rosehall area of Montego Bay had just left work and were standing at a bus stop. Minutes later a motor car appearing to be robot taxi drove up to the women with a female sitting in the front seat posing as a passenger.
Both hotel workers got on board the vehicle allegedly destined for downtown Montego Bay but the driver later diverted and held them at gunpoint.
Kidnapped Female Hotel Worker Found: the couple proceeded to rob both women, followed by which one was released and the robbers drove off with the other female at gunpoint.
Police are investigating the incident and asking anyone with information to contact them.
