Jamaica News, March 12, 2018 – Unidentified Robber Fatally Shot                              

St Andrew, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – One of two men who held up and robbed a female of cash and valuables in St Andrew on Saturday, March 10,  was shot and killed by a licensed firearm holder after he confronted them.

Reports by the Harbour View police are that shortly after 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, the licensed firearm holder was along a section St Thomas Boulevard in Harbour View, when he noticed three men holding up and robbing the female of cash and valuables.

The licensed firearm holder called out to them and immediately the men who were armed with weapons made physical advances towards him.

The complainant pulled his licensed firearm and opened fire on the three armed robbers, shooting one to the upper body. The other two escaped in the area on foot.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the unidentified man was transported to the Kingston Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
