Unidentified Male Fished from Cabarita River, in Westmoreland

Detectives attached to the Westmoreland police department are probing the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was fished from the Cabarita River, in Frome, Westmoreland, on the weekend.

Reports by the Frome police are that about 4:30 pm, residents stumbled upon the body floating in the river, and summoned the police.

The police drove to the scene and upon arrival, the victim who was clad in a green long sleeve shirt, and a jeans pants, was later fished from the water.
