Jamaica News, Hanover: Two men lost their lives as a result of a motor vehicle accident on the Lucea main road in Hanover, on Tuesday, December 18. Four other passengers who were travelling in the ill-fated vehicle have been admitted in hospital for treatment.
The deceased have been identified as 22-year-old Roshaad Johnson of Frome and 19-year-old Brandon Parkinson of Orange Hill district, both in Westmoreland.
According to reports from the Lucea Police, about 6 p.m., Johnson was driving a Toyota Corolla motor car traveling towards Montego Bay with five men aboard. On reaching a section of the roadway, he allegedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a wall.
All six persons sustained multiple injuries and were taken to hospital where Johnson and Parkinson were pronounced dead.
