Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: Two men have now been taken into custody, in connection with the shooting death of another man, and the shooting and wounding of another, in Kingston on Monday, January 7.
The police say they are unable to release the names of both accused at this early time, but the deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Adam Clarke, otherwise called “Bigga or Caution” of Water Lane in Kingston 14.
A second man was also shot and injured during the incident.
Reports by the police are that about shortly after 8:00 p.m. on Monday, Clarke and the other victim were standing along a section of Bread Lane, when they were ambushed by armed men.
Both men were shot multiple times and upon being transported to hospital, Clarke was pronounced dead. The other man admitted in serious condition.
The police were summoned to the scene, and upon arrival, they carried out a series of investigations which resulted in the arrest of both suspects.
