St James, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) — St James Rapists Posing as Taxi Men: the CISOCA Unit in St James say they are still in search of two men who are posing to be taxi operators and who are behind a series of rape incidents which have occurred in and around the parish during 2016 to 2017.
Investigators say one of the accused rapists frequents the Providence area, while the other poses as a taxi operator and plies the Ironshore area.
The police have stated that they don’t have the actual photographs of the accused man but from descriptions sent across by many of their victims they now have an E Fit – V Facial Composition (Sketches of the men).
St James Rapists Posing as Taxi Men: Investigators reveal that both men who are now being sought prey on single women who are trying to board a taxi to and from work. The law-men also made mention that the fake taxi operators will pick up their victims and then divert to isolate areas where they will rape them at gunpoint.
Females who transit in these areas of Ironshore or Providence areas are being asked to contact the nearest police station if any of these men are seen.
