St. James, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – TWO SHOT IN ST JAMES: A 29-year-old security guard and a 19-year-old airport worker were shot by gunmen in Montego Bay, St James on Thursday afternoon, May 11.

Also a 17 years old teenager was critically injured during the incident after he was mowed down by the gunmen’s motor car while they were escaping.

Dead is Lawrence Rowe, Security Guard of Glendevon.

Reports are that about 2:30 pm on Thursday, Rowe and the 19-year-old boy were standing along the roadway in Glendevon when a Silver Honda motor car with three men on board drove up beside them.

The men jumped from the vehicle and brandished AK-47 rifles and open fire hitting both victims before driving away from the scene.

While making their escape from the scene the gunmen used the get away car to mow down the 17-year-old teenage boy who was walking along the roadway.

The Montego Hills police were alerted and upon arrival all three victims were transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital, where Rowe was pronounced dead and the others admitted.
