Latest Jamaica News, Westmoreland (McKoy’s News): The Westmoreland police say they have taken two persons into custody, in connection with the seizure of 36-rounds of ammunition, in Sheffield district on Saturday, August 24.

The names of the persons in custody are being withheld.

Reports by the police are that on Saturday afternoon, a team of officers were on operation in Dawes Lane in Sheffield, when an unoccupied shop was searched.

During the search, the lawmen found a Glock magazine and thirty-six .40 rounds.

The two men who were at the location were taken into custody.
