Jamaica News: Two Pedestrians Killed –  A male and a female who is believed to be a common law couple were mowed down and killed by the driver of a runaway car, along the Lilliput main road, in  St James, on Saturday evening,  February 2nd.

Dead are Rosemarie Daley, otherwise called  ” Ms. Pepsi ” and Gladstone Brown, otherwise called ” Mr. Jango”, both of Lilliput addresses in, St James.

Reports are that the accident occurred shortly after 8:00 p.m., where Brown and Daley had just alighted from a passenger bus and were standing on the sidewalk in Lilliput.

It is further stated that the driver of a Nissan Sunny motor car, which was travelling from the directions of Falmouth towards Montego Bay, lost control of the vehicle which mowed down Brown and Daley.

Both victims who sustained head and body injuries were thrown into bushes from the impact, and they were both rushed to the hospital where they were pronounced dead.

The driver of the ill-fated vehicle also received injuries and was transported to a hospital where he was treated and admitted.
