Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s news) – Two Men Shot and Killed at Top Road: An elderly man, employed to the Sun Valley Road Service Station in Montego Bay as a Personal Assistant and Delivery man along with an unidentified man were both shot and killed by a gunman in the vicinity of the Stop Light at the Queens Drive and Leaders Avenue intersection in Montego Bay, St James on Thursday (August 31, 2017) morning.

The elderly victim has been identified as George Hall, of a Sun Valley Road address while the other victim remains unidentified.

Reports are that about 9:00 a.m., Hall was driving a white Panel minivan from the direction of Sun Valley Road towards Queens Drive. On reaching the stoplight at the intersection of Leaders Avenue and Queens Drive, he brought his vehicle to a halt.

Immediately, a man traveling in another vehicle behind Hall, jumped from his car and ran up to the passenger window of the van being driven by Hall, brandished a handgun and fired some shots through the window, hitting Hall several times to his upper body.

The gunman then made a hasty retreat and fired some more shots, one of which hit the unidentified man who was a passenger in a passing by mini bus.

The police were summoned and on arrival Hall, who was seen slumped around the steering wheel of the van, was taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The wounded passenger was also taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
