Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: Two men were shot and injured by gunmen in Water House and a seven apartment house burnt to the ground on Sunday and Monday, October 15, as rival gang members fight against each other.

The police who are now maintaining a strong presence in the area stated that both men who were shot shortly after 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, still remains at the hospital in serious condition.

The police also stated that both incidents took place at a section of the area close to Bay Palm road, known as Capture Land.

Our news team has also been informed that residents in the area are calling on the police and the government of Jamaica, to call a zone of special operation in the area.

The concerned community members say they are now forced to close their businesses very early and also to leave the streets as early as 6:00 p.m. each day.

They also pointed out that this is the seventh house, that has been burnt to the ground by rival gang members over a short period of time.
