Two Men Charged with the Murder of St Ann Villa Manager

The St Ann Police have confirmed that they have now laid criminal charges against two men, in connection with the murder of 65-year-old Clyde Taylor, the Villa Manager who went missing on Saturday, February 26.

The accused men have been identified as 22-year-old Shacquelle McIntosh, Houseman of Salem in Runaway Bay, and 32-year-old Sheldon Folkes, a barber of Lewis district, and both in St Ann.

Following his disappearance, Taylor’s relatives made several attempts to contact him by cellphone, but their calls all went unanswered and out of concern, a report was made to the Runaway Bay Police.

An investigation was launched and Taylor’s decomposed body was discovered on Thursday, March 3, with multiple chop wounds in the trunk of his 2013 Nissan Note motor car at another location in the area.

Following an investigation by the police, one of the accused men was arrested in connection with his murder, and the second suspect was taken into custody last Thursday, March 10.

They are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
