Two Male Pedestrians Killed in St Elizabeth

Jamaica News, St Elizabeth: The driver of the ill-fated motor car which claimed the lives of two pedestrians, in the parish St Elizabeth, on Thursday, has been warned for prosecution.

Those killed have been identified as 36-year-old Anthony Bowes, of Black River and 54-year-old Dalton Phillips, of a St Thomas address.

Reports by the Black River police are that on Thursday afternoon about 5:00 p.m., Bowes and Phillips were standing along a section of the Central main road in Black River, when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle.

The car crashed into both men, causing injuries to their bodies. They were assisted to hospital by other motorists in the area, where they were both pronounced dead.
