Jamaica Crime News, Manchester: The police in Manchester say they will now be carrying out an identification parade on two men, who were held in possession of an illegal firearm and several rounds of ammunition, which was used to shoot another man to death, at the Manchester Marketplace, on Thursday evening, December 25.
The victim has since been identified as 22-year-old Richard Howard, otherwise called “Richie” laborer of Old England and Grey Ground district in Manchester.
Reports by the police are that about 2:55 p.m. on Tuesday, Howard was standing inside the marketplace when he was approached by two men.
The men brandished handguns and opened fire, hitting Howard multiple times to his upper body, and then attempted to flee the scene.
While making their escape, they were accosted by a team of police officers who were patrolling in the area.
The lawmen also seized a Springfield pistol loaded with twelve live rounds, from the men.
