If reports from Nationwide radio are confirmed, Norman Horne would be ineligible to sit in the Senate.
The radio station reported this morning that Mr Horne is a US citizen. This would make him ineligible to sit in the Senate to which he has been appointed by former PNP President, Dr Peter Phillips. Mr Horne has caused some difficulties over the work of the Senate as he has not withdrawn from the appointment as he said he would. This has blocked the PNP Presidenr, Mark Golding from appointing Peter Bunting as the eighth Opposion Senator.
The latest report would mean the way is partially cleared for Mr Bunting to be named a Senator.
