Jamaica Crime News, Trelawny: Three men were arrested by members of the Lottery Scam Task Force on Friday morning, November 16, following the seizure of Jamaican and American currency, laptops, cell phones and other items which are slated as tools used to carry out the Lottery Scam.

The identities of the three men taken into custody are being withheld pending further investigations.

Reports by the police are that about 5:30 a.m. on Friday, November 16, a team attached to the Lottery Scam Task Force carried out an operation at Coral Spring Housing Scheme in Falmouth, Trelawny.

During the operation, a search was carried out of a house occupied by the men and this resulted in the seizure of dozens of leads sheets which have addresses and personal information of residents residing overseas.

The lawmen also seized Jamaican $140,000, US$500, a black high-end Toyota Crown Majesta motor car, laptops and a number of cell phones.

All three male occupants who were at the house were taken into custody.
