Latest Jamaica News, Trelawny (McKoy’s News): Trelawny Mechanic Arrested A mechanic who hails from Spicey Hill, in the parish of Trelawny was arrested and charged on the weekend, in connection with the seizure of an illegal firearm and several rounds of ammunition in the parish last Wednesday.

He has been identified as 29-year-old Jofari Pyke, mechanic of Barnstable district, also in the parish.

Reports by the police are that about 11:20 p.m., a team of officers were on patrol at a section of Spicey Hill when they heard a barrage of gunshots being fired.

The lawmen investigated and saw the accused with an illegal firearm in his waistband.

He was taken into custody and charged in the weekend with illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
