Trelawny, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Trelawny Man Murdered: One man was murdered in the parish of Trelawny on Sunday morning by men posing as police officers.

The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Johnathan Crosdale, laborer of Pinning Road in Bounty Hall District.

The Trelawny  police have reported that about 4:30 am on Sunday, January 14, Crosdale and his girlfriend were at home in bed when they heard loud banging on the door.

The occupants then heard voices on the outside identifying themselves as police officers and ordered them to open up.  Crosdale immediately got out of bed and went to open the door and was greeted by gunfire.

An alarm was made and residents in the area  alerted the police, upon arrival, Crosdale was transported to the Falmouth Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
