Tour Bus Operator Murdered in Negril, Westmoreland

Jamaica Crime News, Westmoreland: Tour Bus Operator Murdered A tour bus operator was shot and killed by armed men, while parked on his tour bus stand in White Hall, Negril, Westmoreland on Wednesday, March 13.

The dead man has been identified as 35-year-old Akeino Saffrey, also of a Westmoreland address.

Reports by the Westmoreland police are that about 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Saffrey was standing beside his Toyota Hiace minibus in the vicinity of a tour bus stand in White Hall Negril, when he was approached by a lone gunman.

The armed man opened fire hitting the tour bus operator multiple times to the regions of his upper body, before making his escape on a waiting motorcycle. Saffrey died on the spot.

The police were summoned followed by which the scene was processed and the victim transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

  • These gunmen are fool they’ve no sense whatsoever, they can’t even realise that taking a person life can’t make anything better. A wonder if he realised how far, how long he’s going to run, and his time is coming. Going around, around and murdering people is bringing down distructions on himself, and family, up to the very facilitator. They can’t give life so why take it idiots, all the murders, you all gonna loose out on this life and the next, reasons for this is that you planned it, and deliberately went and executed it. The Bible describe it as deliberate, and there is no excuse for that type of sins. Gunman, and murders destruction is upon you and your generation, and you they will not escape.
