Jamaica Crime News, Westmoreland: Tour Bus Operator Murdered A tour bus operator was shot and killed by armed men, while parked on his tour bus stand in White Hall, Negril, Westmoreland on Wednesday, March 13.

The dead man has been identified as 35-year-old Akeino Saffrey, also of a Westmoreland address.

Reports by the Westmoreland police are that about 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Saffrey was standing beside his Toyota Hiace minibus in the vicinity of a tour bus stand in White Hall Negril, when he was approached by a lone gunman.

The armed man opened fire hitting the tour bus operator multiple times to the regions of his upper body, before making his escape on a waiting motorcycle. Saffrey died on the spot.

The police were summoned followed by which the scene was processed and the victim transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
