Three Men Shot and Injured at Cemetery in Westmoreland

Jamaica Crime News, Westmoreland: Three men, all of Red Ground addresses in Negril, Westmoreland, were rushed to the Sav-la-mar hospital and admitted in serious conditions, after they were attacked and shot by three armed men on Sunday, April 22.

Reports by the Negril police are that, shortly after 10:00 p.m, on Sunday, the three men were among a group of men at a grave digging, which was taking place at a Cemetery in Red Ground.

Minutes later, the men were ambushed by a group of armed men traveling on foot, who opened fire on them.  All three received gunshot wounds to their upper bodies while the gunmen escaped in the area on foot.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded men were transported to hospital where they were treated and admitted in serious condition.
