Three Juveniles Shot by Gunmen in St James

Jamaica Crime News, St James: Three juveniles were shot and injured by a group of gunmen in the community of Bickersteth, in St James on Monday night,  August 13.

The three victims, one of whom is 15-year-old and the other two 17 years old have since been treated at hospital and admitted in stable condition.

Reports by the Anchovy police are that about 9:00 p.m. on Monday, the three juveniles were walking towards their home along a section of the Bickersteth main road when they were pounced upon by a group of armed men.

The gunmen opened fire on the boys hitting them to the upper and lower regions of their bodies.

The juveniles ran to avoid being shot to death on the scene and the gunmen made there escape on foot in the area.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, all three wounded boys were rushed to hospital where they were treated and admitted.
