The Porus police in the parish of Manchester have commenced a probe into a fatal crash, which claimed the lives of three men, along a section of the Whitefield main road in the parish on Sunday, September 9th.
Those killed have been identified as Delroy Lindsey, 36-year-old, a contract worker of Melrose in Manchester, Oshane Walters, 29-year-old, laborer of Melrose and Derrick Salmon, 42-year-old.
Reports by the police are that about 12:00 am, Lindsey was driving a white Toyota Corolla motor car, towards Clarendon, with both men on board as passengers.
On reaching a section of the roadway, Lindsey attempted a line of traffic and crashed into a BMW motor car, which was heading in the opposite direction.
Both vehicles were extensively damaged, while Lindsey and the other two occupants of the vehicle got trapped in the wreckage.
It took the police and the Fire Fighters several hours to get them free.
All three were rushed to a hospital where they were pronounced dead.
