Jamaica News: Telecommunication giants FLOW has blamed thieves for the problems some of their customers have been experiencing this week.
Persons in parts of St Catherine, Kingston and St Andrew and Clarendon have reported outages.
Flow in a public advisory said “our team is addressing the issue currently impacting the fixed Internet service of some customers. Be assured that all efforts are being made to resolve this as quickly as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience & will keep you updated.”
Criminals target cables to secure the copper for sale. The illegal practice cost the telecoms firms millions.
