The police in Trelawny has confirmed that the decomposed body of a man which was discovered in a sinkhole on the border of St James and Trelawny, on Saturday afternoon, February 2nd, was identified to be that of missing Attorney At Law, Williams Hines.
65-year-old, Williams Hinds, otherwise called ” Baldie ” Attorney At Law Attorney of Greenside, in Falmouth, Trelawny and Mona in Kingston 6, went missing from his home on January 6th, 2019.
It is reported that on Saturday afternoon, a farmer smells a foul odour coming from the sinkhole on a farm property in Orange Hill.
The police were summoned, and an investigation led to the discovery of the decomposing body at to bottom of the sinkhole.
A burnt-out briefcase which is said to have been owned by the Attorney was also discovered beside the old farmhouse.
One police source told our news team that the body was positively identified by the clothing, by a family member.
Mr. Hinds was reported last seen alive about 11:00 a.m., on January 6th, at his home in Falmouth.
