The Morant Bay police in the parish of St Thomas have now launched a manhunt for a teenage boy, who they say is believed to be behind the stabbing death of his teenage cousin at their home at Acacia Road in Lysson, St Thomas on Friday night, February 8.

The dead teen has been identified as 16-year-old, Kamol Francis of Beacon Hill, in Bath, St Thomas.

Reports by the police are that about 10:15 p.m., on Friday, Francis and his cousin were in a room at the family house, when a family member who was on the outside of the house heard him calling for help.

He ran inside the house and discovered the teenage boy suffering from stab wounds.

Francis was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.  The police were summoned and after carrying out an investigation, a search was launched for the cousin.
