Teenage Boys Perish in Portland Motorcycle Crash

Jamaica Crime News, Portland: Two teenage boys died as a result of injuries they sustained in a motorcycle accident,  which occurred along a section of the Blue Berry Hill main road in Portland,  on Thursday afternoon of August 30.

Dead are 17-year-old Akeem Bailey and 16-year-old Nicardo Palmer,  both of Bybrook district also in Portland.

Reports by the police are that about 5:30 p.m. on Thursday,  Bailey was riding a motorcycle along a section of the Blueberry Hill main road,  with Palmer as the pillion.

On reaching a section of the roadway,  Bailey attempted to overtake another vehicle and crashed into a Toyota Rav 4 SUV, which was travelling in the opposite directions.

Both Bailey and Palmer sustained head and body injuries, and were rushed to hospital where they were both pronounced dead.
