Three teenagers were arrested, following the seizure of firearms and ammunition by police in Seaforth, St Thomas on Tuesday.
The teens were allegedly trespassing on a farm when they were stopped and searched, according to the police.
The firearms were discovered on two of them, triggering their arrest.
The weapons found on the teens are a Smith & Wesson Springfield 9mm handgun with a magazine containing seven 9mm rounds, and a Berretta 9mm pistol with a magazine holding fifteen 9mm rounds.
The teenagers will be questioned in front of their attorneys, after which charges under the Disaster Risk Management Act and the Firearms Act will be filed.
