Taxi Operator Shot and Killed by Motorcycle Gunmen in St Elizabeth

Latest Jamaica News, St Elizabeth: One man was shot and killed by men traveling on a motorcycle in Southfield, St Elizabeth, on Monday, July 22.

The dead man has since been identified as 38-year-old Damaine Daye, a taxi operator of Bellevue housing scheme, also in Southfield.

Reports by the Junction police are that about 6:15 p.m. on Monday, Daye was ambushed by two armed men traveling on a motorcycle and was shot multiple times to his head.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded man was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
