Taxi Operator Shot and Injured At Half Way Tree

Latest Jamaica News, Kingston: A popular taxi operator who resides at Tower Isle in St Andrew, was shot and injured by a lone gunman, in Half Way Tree Square on Wednesday morning, July 10.

The identity of the wounded taxi operator is being withheld by the police.

Reports are that about 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the taxi operator was standing at a section of Half Way Tree, when he was approached by a man.

The man brandished a handgun and opened fire hitting the victim to the regions of his abdomen, before fleeing the scene.
