Taxi Operator Murdered in May Pen

Latest Jamaica News, Clarendon: The May Pen police in Clarendon, have commenced an investigation into the shooting death of a popular taxi operator in Chateau district, on Wednesday, August 7.

Dead is 25-year-old Darvan Johnson, who resides in Chateau community.

Reports by the May Pen police are that about 12:30 a.m., residents heard loud explosions and summoned the police.

Upon the arrival of the lawmen, Johnson was seen lying in a pool of blood, with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

The scene was processed and Johnson was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
