Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: Taxi Operator Murdered – The Denham Town police have now commenced a full investigation, surrounding the shooting death of a popular taxi operator at his home, in Trench Town, Kingston 12, on Wednesday morning, March 13.
The deceased has been identified as 44-year-old Orlando Reid, otherwise called “Oliver” taxi operator of Fifth Street also in Trench Town.
Unidentified Man Shot and Killed in St Catherine
Reports by the police are that about 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Reid was asleep at his home when a group of armed men kicked the door to his house open.
The gunmen sprayed the room with bullets, shooting Reid multiple time, killing him on the spot.
The police were summoned by residents in the area and upon their arrival, Reid was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
