A taxi operator in St Andrew has been charged after police said they found 11 rounds of
ammunition at his home.

Charged on Wednesday, July 15 with illegal possession of ammunition is 34-year-old
Howard Martin, taxi operator of Providence Pen Lane in Kingston 5.

Reports from the Half-Way-Tree Police are that about 7:30 a.m., lawmen conducted an
operation in the area where a premises was searched. Eleven rounds of ammunition were
found in a suitcase inside the dwelling.

Martin was subsequently charged and is scheduled to appear before the Kingston and St.
Andrew Parish Court.
