Latest Jamaica News, Westmoreland (McKoy’s News): Taxi Driver Found Murdered in Cane Field – The Savanna-la-mar police in the parish of Westmoreland, have commenced an investigation surrounding the death of a popular taxi operator, who was discovered shot to death in a canefield in the parish on Monday, with a goat tied to one of his legs.
He has been identified as 38-year-old Kerry Kemorley Grant, otherwise called “Schoolaz”, taxi operator of Shaolin district, also in Westmoreland.
Reports by the police are that on Monday evening, residents stumbled upon Grant’s body, which was found lying beside his Nissan station wagon motor car, in a canefield.
The police were summoned and upon their arrival, Grant was discovered lying in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds to his head, and a goat tied to one of his feet.
The scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue for a post-mortem examination.
