Jamaica Crime News, Montego Bay: A female tattoo artist who hails from London, in England, was arrested and charged in connection with the seizure of 42 pounds of ganja, at the Sangster’s International Airport in Montego Bay, on Wednesday.
She has been identified as 28-year-old Zharrian Simmons, a tattoo artist.
Simmons has been charged with Possession of, dealing in, and Taking steps to export ganja.
Reports are that on Wednesday afternoon, the accused was in the process of boarding a flight destined for Manchester, England, when her luggage was searched, and the drug found.
She is booked to appear in the St James Parish Court Wednesday, June 5.
