Kingston, Jamaican (McN) – A 26 year-old Westmoreland man accused of stealing IMAC equipment from the X-ray department of Andrews Memorial Hospital, is now in police custody.
Police of the St. Andrew Central division on Tuesday afternoon arrested the man during their investigation of stolen property from Andrews Memorial Hospital.
Reported are that on Monday, March 6, an IMAC valued at more than J$3 million was stolen from the Hospital.
The equipment is essential to the operations of the X-ray department.
The accused will be charged with larceny.
