Latest Jamaica News [Mckoy’s News] Suspects Sought –  The St Catherine police are now combing sections of the parish for two men, who they believed are involved in the burning death of a popular St Ann based hair distributor, whose charred remains were discovered in a canefield in Lluidas Vola, two Fridays ago.
The police say they believe Devon Campbell, hair distributor of Golden Grove in Moneague, St Ann, and Commodore district in St Catherine, was robbed, then killed and set on fire by the men.
Reports by the Shadey Grove police are that about 8:40 a.m., residents saw fire and smoke coming from a section of a cane field and went to investigate.
They stumbled upon Campbell’s body, which was on fire in a section of the canefield.
The police and fire department were summoned and upon arrival, the blaze was extinguished and the body taken to the morgue, for a post mortem examination.
The police have not yet released the identities of the suspects.
