Police Hunting Suspect in the Tianna Clark Murder

JAMAICA NEWS, FEBRUARY 18, 2018 – Granville Teen Tianna Clark Murder

St James, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Investigators attached to the Granville and Freeport police CIB Departments say they are now in search of a prime suspect in connection with the gruesome murder of a 14-years-old James High School student in Granville community on Friday night of February, 16.

Tianna Clark Murder: The murdered teenage girl has been identified as Tianna Clarke, 14-years-old, eight-grade student who attends St James High school in Montego Bay. The police pointed out that following a series of investigations they are now hot on the trail of the suspect who they believe may have fled the community after the incident.

The Mckoy’s News team went to the community of Granville, in St James and spoke to Valisha Vidal, mother of the slain teenager.

According to Ms Vidal, her daughter Tianna came to her shortly after 8:00 pm., on Friday night and asked her for some money to help her buy a cup noodle soup at a neighbouring shop. Vidal states that she gave the money to her daughter and the teen left for the shop.

The mother further stated that, several hours passed and she noticed that it was getting late and Tianna did now return home, so she thought her daughter had stopped off by her father’s house, which she would normally do.

The grieving womans said she fell asleep but when she woke up later that night she got very concern about the whereabouts of her daughter. In the wee hours of Saturday morning she made contact with the child’s father and when he told her that he did not see Tianna, she got very concerned and immediately went to the Granville police station to report that the child was missing.

Tianna Clark Murder: While on her way back from the police station a close friend informed her that residents in the area had stumbled upon a body in an abandoned building, close to her house and they believe that it is her daughter Tiana. Vidalm still shaken, told our reporter that she completely broke down and after running to the scene, but she was barred from entering to see her daughter, by policemen who had already reached the abandoned building.

Investigators stated that upon arrival they discovered the child lying in a pool of blood, in a nude state with multiple stab wounds all over her body.

Ms Vidal told Mckoy’s News that her daughter was a well-behaved girl and very quiet. She further stated that she was an asthmatic patient so she is not the one to linger on the road at nights.
