Jamaica Crime News, Montego Bay: Clarendon Woman Found Murdered – The Freeport police in Montego Bay, St. James, say they are now in search of a man who they believe can assist them in their investigations, surrounding the shooting death of a Clarendon woman, who was discovered shot to death in a motor vehicle, which was parked along a section of the roadway in Bogue Hill, St. James, on Thursday, April 11.
The police further stated that they are now working with some strong leads and they expect to have the suspect into custody in short order.
The suspect they say is being sought in connection with the murder 51-year-old Anis Lois Carr of a Chapleton address, in Clarendon.
Reports by the Freeport police are that shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, residents living in Bogue Hill, saw Carr slumped around the steering wheel of a white Toyota Vitz motor car, which was parked along the roadway in New Ramble, Bogue and raised an alarm.
The police were summoned and upon arriving at the scene, they discovered Carr lying motionless, in a seated position, around the steering wheel of the car.
She had what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds to her upper body.
The scene was processed, and Carr’s body removed to hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
